Gift of the Children is a FREE youth theatre company established by Douglas Fremlin and is designed to assist young people who have musical ability and have a want to learn singing and performance from the lower socio-economic areas of our community. It is a theatre company, a FREE musical outlet for young people from less fortunate circumstances and who have musical ability, to give them the opportunity to learn singing and/or musicianship with focus on performance.

BOOK NOW GCYTC & The Duo
Well people! Today was a strange one, I went to rent a
piano and met a man who is in the initial stages of setting up 'El Sistema' in
Australia. It was one of those meant to
be's, all I wanted was a piano hire for the Nat King Cole Tribute (a man I have always aspired to) and
meet another man who is doing what I have always dreamt to do, create music
with the youth of today.
The mission statement for GCYTC has always been
'For the Youth, By the Youth, For Music'
and I have now met someone who could possibly help, stay
tuned as the next step of this adventure to share with young people of today,
from all walks of life, the gift that we were given. The gift of a language that does not need
much said but reveals to each of us a story, GCYTC; these is my story and hope
to see you at one of our shows soon or in the future.
BTW: the supporter’s page will be bigger next week; just
a matter of time and loading up pictures but it is getting out there in the
public. The cause is to show the youth
of today what can be done better, not for the sakes of ourselves but for the
sake of the very thing we need to survive as a race, Earth.
Treat her well and longevity of our race is
guaranteed, ravage the very thing we need to survive and it is easy for Her,
Mother Nature to discard of us; we have seen this in history but will we
learn. The earth can do without us but
can we do without Her? There is a
question for all.
